Helsebemanning opens new office in Málaga

On November 23, 2022, Helsebemanning released the big news that we have been waiting so long to share with you: We have opened an office in Málaga!
Our new colleague Ann-Charlotte works on site in Malaga. Ann-Charlotte will work to find Spanish Nurses, Doctors and other healthcare personnel who wish to work in Sweden and Norway. In order to work in the Nordic countries as a Spanish healthcare professional, it is necessary to speak and understand the languages ​​spoken at the workplace, therefore Helsebamennig will offer language schools for those who need it.
Our aim in the future is to be able to help Spanish healthcare with recruitment and staffing. Our expectations for 2023 are high and we are sure that it will be very successful year!

Helsebemanning AS is a Norwegian-owned company with headquarters in Lillehammer and branch offices in Oslo, Uppsala, Karlskrona, Stockholm, Borlänge and Málaga. The company was founded by Thom-Erik Gruer and registered in November 2010. The majority of the company is owned by Thom-Erik Gruer and Svein Larsen.

Since its inception in 2010, Helsebemanning has staffed healthcare facilities with nurses and physicians (part-time, full-time, temporary or locum tenens) in most specialties in both Sweden and Norway. As a result, we have a large network of people in those areas of expertise, with whom we maintain excellent contacts. Since January 2020, we have also recruited and staffed audiologists.

Helsebemanning’s customers are mainly municipalities and regions, but we also have a number of private healthcare providers as customers.

Who is Helsebemanning?

Since its beginning in 2010, Helsebemanning has staffed health care facilities with nurses and doctors (part-time, full time, temporary or locum tenens consultants) in most specialties, both in Sweden and Norway. Since January 2020, we have also recruited and staffed audiologists.

Helsebemanning wants to operate a business where our commitment makes a difference and where you as a professional health staff and our customers will feel optimally treated. Good communication and reliability are keywords for us.

How does it work?

When you work as a health staff consultant, you work on behalf of Helsebemanning. We usually get assignments through framework agreements with customers who place their orders to us. The content of your job is defined by the contract we have with the care provider (client) and may vary slightly depending on the location and type of assignment. Your closest superior is one of our consulting managers, who will guide you all the way from the moment you register your interest in a job until the assignment is extended or terminated. Most commonly, you are given a new assignment before you finish the current one so that you can plan your near future in advance.

Working as a freelance consultant gives you the freedom to choose when, how much and where you work, but it requires you to be confident in your position as a doctor or nurse, have experience and be very flexible. Some want to work as a freelance consultant to try out jobs in different parts of Sweden or Norway, while others prefer assignments in the same destination. As a consultant, you can work through your own company where you are paid by invoice or as an employee with a salary.

Working with us is a great way to try out life as a freelance consultant. You can choose short or long term assignments and you don't have to commit for a long period if you're not sure if this is really suitable for you.

The consultant manager you will be working with is a very experienced person who has worked in staffing for a long time. You will be given help with work, travel and accommodation if you wish.

What happens when my assignment ends?

Once you have carried out your assignment according to the contract you have with us, you will also have built up your CV with work experience and credentials. We will contact the workplace where you have been and follow up on how it has worked. Most of our customers are happy to hear about your experience with them and if you can suggest any possible improvements or just give them compliments.

Most often, our freelance consultants wish to have the next assignment before they finish the current one and continuity is something we cherish. It's our job to find assignments that suit you so you feel reassured about your future.

Do I have to work full time as a freelance consultant?

No, you don't have to. There are part-time and full-time assignments, shorter and longer periods both in Norway, Sweden and Spain, ranging from single weeks to full-year assignments. You can determine how much you want to work.
